2022 Hot Rod and Car Shows Revving Up

The legacy of moonshine and hot roads is on display most weekends during the spring and summer months.  Fast cars in the 1950’s and 60’s were needed to haul illegal spirits out of the hollows and mountains of East Tennessee to waiting customers.  Prohibition in the 1920’s killed a thriving legal industry, and it wasn’t until very recently that many of the local counties revoked their “dry” status.

For car enthusiasts, there is nothing quite like meeting up with other owners to talk chrome or swap parts.  Even if you are a novice, the display of so many well-loved, well cared for vehicles is an experience worth sharing.

38th annual Moonshine Rod Run June 17-18 Newport

Slammed in the Smokies– July 9-10- Sevierville.

Smoky Mountain Mustang Invasion- Aug 5-7

Hillbilly 66 Bike and Car Show- Aug 6- Knoxville

Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion- Aug 25-27
