2024 Early Summer Music Events to Plan For
Lake season has officially opened in the 9 Lakes Region. The marina ship stores, restaurants and boat rentals are now open on weekends for business.
Along with live weekend music at your favorite marinas, summer concert series in the small and large towns of the region are kicking off. Tennessee is known for music and East Tennessee is a cradle of musical talent.
Get out and play in the 9 Lakes. Plan your East Tennessee mountain or lake vacation to include a stop at one of these featured summer events:
- May 25- Concerts at Brushy Mountain Prison– Oliver Anthony with Davisson Bros.
- May 25- Rockin the Docks– Lenoir City.- Live music, picnicking and fireworks- Free
- May 30- Rhythm on the River- Newport- Live music and food vendors- Free
- June 7- through Oct 4- First Fridays Concerts- Morristown- Free
- Jun 7-8: Popcorn Sutton Memorial Jam– Newport- music, craft whiskey tastings, crafts. Where moonshine is hand crafted by the light of the moon.
- Jun 13: Rhythm on the River- Newport- Live music and food vendors- Free
- Jun 27: Rhythm on the River- Newport- If you love southern rock- Grits– Free
- June 20: Bluegrass Solstice Concert– Farragut- Celebrate the longest day of the year- Free
- Jun 21-22: Smoky Mountain Quilters Annual Show and Competition– Knoxville- Quilt displays, judging, and demonstrations.
- Jun 22: Hops in the Hills– Maryville- Craft beer, music, and food. This will sell out.
Jun 29: Rockin the Docks- Lenoir City- live music, fireworks- Free
