The 9 Lakes of East Tennessee are home to multiple regional and national competitive bass tournaments. There is a great reason that anglers flock to the area. Douglas and Cherokee Lakes have landed on Bassmaster’s Top 100 best Bass Lakes. Melton Hill Lakes boasts the state record for suageye and muskellunge. The tailwaters of Norris Lake produced the state record for brown trout. The Pigeon River and French Broad have yielded record sized Red Horse.
