It might seem early, but don’t miss these important dates and links to make your seasonal plans. Holiday weekends in the winter and summer fill up fast in the 9 Lakes Region. There really is something to the proverb “ the early bird gets the worm.”
The seasonal TVA campgrounds reservation system will be opening on Nov 16 for the 2023 season at Douglas Dam. Cherokee Dam, and Melton Hill. Reservations open for Loyston Point and Yarberry Peninsula open on Jan 1. These are very popular campgrounds, so book early to get your preferred dates and sites.
New name, but the same fun! Ober Gatlinburg is under new management and is ready to host your family. One of the most popular activities for families is the winter tubing sessions. The tubing season at Ober Mountain will begin on November 19, just in time for the Thanksgiving holidays. Session tickets are on sale now.
