Welcome to the 9 Lakes Region, home to the some of the best motorcycle touring roads in the East. While most riders think about Cherohala Skyway and Tail of the Dragon, there are some rides that locals consider to be on a short list when touring the region. Each of these 7 “Long and Winding” rides offer that right balance of urban and rural, showcasing the unique landscape and heritage of this beautiful region.

When exploring our region, your ride can take you to four (4) National Parks, one (1) Scenic and Wild River, the only National Forest in Tennessee, plus numerous great places to stop to take a picture, grab a meal, or learn about the local wine industry. Or stop by one of the many marinas for a fun relaxing break to swap stories, share an appetizer, or enjoy a great sunset. Whether you are looking for a leisurely scenic ride or a challenging trail filled with twists and turns, adventure is just a few miles down the road.
